Applications

Electronic field:

Semiconductor chip manufacturing: in the manufacturing process of semiconductor chips, silver metal sputtering targets can be used to deposit a thin film of silver on the wafer surface as a conductive layer or electrode material. For example, in the metal interconnect layer of integrated circuits, the silver film can provide good conductivity, reduce the resistance of the circuit, and improve the chip’s computing speed and performance.

Flat panel display manufacturing: In liquid crystal displays (LCD), organic light-emitting diodes (OLED) and other flat panel display technologies, silver metal sputtering targets are used to prepare transparent conductive films. The high conductivity and good light transmission of silver metal make it an ideal material for making transparent electrodes, which can improve the brightness, contrast and response speed of the display.
