Potassium perrhenate is a chemical substance composed of potassium ions (K+) and rhenium oxide ions (ReO4-). The weight of each molecule is about 289.31 g/mol.
Molecular formula: KReO4
Molecular weight: 289.3029
Appearance: white crystalline powder
Density: 4.89g/cm3
Melting point: 550℃
Boiling point: 1360~1370℃
Refractive index: 1.643
Crystal system: tetraclinic crystal
Solubility: slightly soluble in water, poorly soluble in ethanol. The solubility varies greatly with temperature. At 0℃, the solubility is 0.36g, and at 50℃ it is 3.3g. If KCl or other potassium salts are added, the solubility is even lower.
Potassium perrhenate is produced by dissolving potassium hydroxide or potassium carbonate with perrhenic acid.
1. Used for the preparation of pure rhenium;
2. Used as an analytical reagent (spectral analysis);
3. Used as an oxidant.
Our products implement the most stringent quality management system, and there are strict inspection standards for incoming materials, processes, final inspections, and factory inspections. Strict isolation measures will be adopted for unqualified processing to prevent unqualified products from flowing into the next process. Samples will be provided to customers according to customer requirements for re-inspection.
Inner vacuum packaging, outer carton packaging.
Potassium perrhenate should be sealed and stored in a cool, ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat sources. The storage temperature should not exceed 30℃ and the relative humidity should not exceed 80%. The packaging should be sealed. It should be stored separately from flammable (combustible) materials and reducing agents, and should not be mixed. The storage area should be equipped with appropriate materials to contain leaks.
VI HALBLEITERMATERIAL GmbH (VIMATERIAL) employs a stringent quality assurance system to ensure the reliability of our product quality. Strict quality control is implemented throughout the entire production chain, and for defective products, we strictly enforce the principle of rework and redo. Each batch is released only after passing detailed specification tests.
Every batch of our materials is independently tested, and, if necessary, we send samples to certified companies for testing. We provide these documents and analysis certificates with the shipment to certify that our products meet the required standards.
