Zinc Selenide Powder is a yellow crystalline, insoluble in water, with good light transmittance and semiconductor properties, which can be used in many fields such as defense and military industry, battery manufacturing, photoelectric devices, optical coating and other important inorganic compound materials.

Applications

Defense industry: infrared detection systems made of zinc selenide can be used in ground-based weaponry as well as missiles to help weapon systems detect, track and identify targets.

Battery manufacturing field: can be used in the manufacture of solar cells and aluminum ion batteries, etc., the use of its semiconductor properties to participate in the photoelectric conversion process of the battery, improve the performance of the battery.

Optoelectronic devices: Can be used in the manufacture of optical lenses, lasers and optical glass.

For example, in lasers, zinc selenide can be used as a gain medium or optical element for generating and transmitting lasers; in optical lenses and optical glass, it can improve the performance and imaging quality of optical systems.
