VIMATERIAL’s Zinc Oxide (Ga doped) granules are made from Zinc Oxide doped with 5% Gallium. Compared to Zinc Oxide granules, Zinc Oxide granules doped with 5% Gallium have better electrical properties, optical properties, crystal structure stability, etc…, which makes them more suitable for use in high-performance electronic and optoelectronic devices.

Crystal structure: The wurtzite structure of zinc oxide is maintained, but the doping of gallium will lead to changes in the lattice constant, thus affecting the properties of the crystal.
Electronics: Due to the combination of good electrical conductivity and optical transparency, gallium can be used to prepare transparent conductive electrodes for optoelectronic devices to improve device performance and display. The unique electrical properties make them suitable for use as channel or electrode materials in transistors, which can improve carrier mobility and switching performance and reduce power consumption.
Optical field: It can absorb ultraviolet rays and be used in sunscreen cosmetics, plastics, paints, etc. to prevent UV damage and give products anti-aging properties. Good photoelectric properties can be used as photoanode or electron transport layer materials to improve photoelectric conversion efficiency.
Ceramics: added to ceramic materials, it can improve the sintering, mechanical and electrical properties, reduce the sintering temperature, increase the density and hardness.
Sensors: Sensitive to certain gases, the electrical properties change when exposed to specific gases, based on which sensors can be prepared to detect harmful gases or biomolecules. Based on good biocompatibility and surface properties, biosensors can be constructed to realize rapid and sensitive detection of biomolecules.
Antimicrobial field: It has antimicrobial properties, and the antimicrobial effect may be enhanced after gallium doping, which can be used to prepare antimicrobial plastics, coatings, fibers, etc. to inhibit the growth and reproduction of bacteria.
