Tungsten telluride powder is an inorganic compound powder composed of two elements, tungsten (W) and tellurium (Te).

 

Basic properties:

 

Chemical formula: WTe₂.

Molecular weight: 439.04.

Appearance: gray-black powder at normal temperature and pressure.

Density: Relatively high, about 9.43g/cm³.

Melting point: high, about 1127℃.

Crystal structure: layered structure. In its orthogonal cell, the tungsten chain is one-dimensional along the A-axis of the tellurium layer. This special structure gives tungsten telluride powder unique physical and chemical properties in certain directions.

 

Physical properties:

 

Electrical conductivity: It is a non-magnetic semi-metallic material with good electrical conductivity.
