Tungsten Oxide target is an important material for magnetron sputtering and other coating processes.

Basic properties:

Chemical formula and composition: The chemical formula is WO3, which is composed of two elements, tungsten (W) and oxygen (O).
Crystal structure: WO3 crystals have an octahedral structure, with tungsten atoms at the centre of the octahedron and oxygen atoms at the vertices of each of the eight faces.
Melting point: 1472°C.
Boiling point: 1837°C.
Relative density: 7.16, insoluble in water and acid, slightly soluble in hydrofluoric acid.

Application field:

Optical coating: It is used to prepare all kinds of optical films, such as anti-reflection film, transmittance enhancement film, etc. It can be applied to optical instruments, glasses lenses, solar cells and other fields to improve the performance and efficiency of optical devices.

Electronic devices: In the field of electronics, it can be used to prepare electronic devices such as thin film transistor (TFT), field effect transistor (FET), and as electrode materials.

Gas-sensitive sensors: Tungsten Oxide is sensitive to certain gases and can be used to prepare gas-sensitive sensors to detect the composition and concentration of gases, such as oxygen, hydrogen, carbon monoxide and other gases.

Electrochromic devices: such as smart windows, car mirrors, etc. The colour and transparency of WO3 film can be adjusted by changing the applied voltage to achieve the control and regulation of light.
