Titanium Monoxide sputtering target is a compound target mainly composed of titanium and oxygen, which is used in physical vapour deposition and other processes, through sputtering can deposit TiO film on the surface of the substrate, which has potential applications in the fields of photocatalysis, electronics and optics, such as the preparation of photocatalytic materials or coatings for electrical devices.

We supply Titanium Monoxide sputtering targets, VIMATERIAL can also provide target binding service, our products are subject to customisation and experimentation, please contact us if you need.

Characteristics

Molecular formula: TiO

Molecular weight: 63.87

Appearance: Usually black or dark grey solid, surface may have metallic luster.

Density: about 4.93 g/cm³.

Melting point: about 1750°C

Crystal structure: It has a typical rock salt (NaCl) type cubic crystal structure, in which titanium (Ti) atoms and oxygen (O) atoms occupy the apex and face centre of the cubic cell respectively, and this structure is helpful for understanding its physical and chemical properties.

Applications

Photocatalysis: Titanium Monoxide sputtering targets can be used to deposit TiO films on a variety of substrates, which are capable of generating electron-cavity pairs under light irradiation for photocatalytic degradation of organic pollutants, decomposition of water to produce hydrogen, and other applications.

Electronics: TiO films deposited on the surface of electronic components can improve the electrical properties of the components, such as acting as an insulating or semiconducting layer, which helps to manufacture high-performance transistors, capacitors and other electronic devices.

Optical field: TiO films formed by sputtering can be used for optical coatings, adjusting the refractive index of optical elements to achieve the effect of transmittance or reflection reduction, and can also be used for the manufacture of optical thin-film devices, such as filters.

Material surface protection field: Used in material surface coating, by virtue of its chemical stability, it can enhance the corrosion resistance of the material, and protect the material from chemical substances, moisture and other factors in the environment.

Solar Cells: TiO films are deposited on the surface of electrodes or active layers of solar cells to increase the photovoltaic conversion efficiency and optimise the performance of the cell, as well as to enhance the stability and durability of the cell.

Quality Control

Our products are subject to a strict quality management system. There are strict inspection standards for incoming materials, processing, final inspection and factory inspection. Strict isolation measures are taken for unqualified processing to prevent unqualified products from flowing into the next process. Samples are provided for customer re-inspection according to customer requirements.

Packaging and Storage

Titanium Monoxide sputtering targets are packed in double-layer vacuum bags and then boxed and packed in cartons.

Titanium Monoxide sputtering targets should be stored in a dry, cool and well-ventilated environment, avoiding moisture, contact with strong oxidants and acids, and avoiding violent collision and friction to ensure that its physical and chemical properties are not damaged.

QUALITY ASSURANCE

VI HALBLEITERMATERIAL GmbH (VIMATERIAL) employs a stringent quality assurance system to ensure the reliability of our product quality. Strict quality control is implemented throughout the entire production chain, and for defective products, we strictly enforce the principle of rework and redo. Each batch is released only after passing detailed specification tests.

Every batch of our materials is independently tested, and, if necessary, we send samples to certified companies for testing. We provide these documents and analysis certificates with the shipment to certify that our products meet the required standards.
