Lithium-ion battery field: Sn and Se elements in SnSe₂ can have reversible chemical reactions with lithium ions, which can be inserted into and detached from the lattice structure of SnSe₂ during the charging and discharging process of the battery to achieve the storage and release of electrical energy.
