Tantalum nitride granules are an important chemical material.
Basic information:
Chemical composition: mainly composed of tantalum (Ta) and nitrogen (N) elements, the chemical formula is TaN.
Crystal structure: generally hexagonal crystal structure, but other crystal types also exist.
Colour: Usually black or grey, although the colour may vary depending on factors such as particle size, purity and preparation method.
Density: Relative density is high, approximately 14.36 g/cm³.
Hardness: High hardness with good abrasion and scratch resistance.
Melting point: up to 3090°C. It has excellent resistance to high temperatures and can remain stable in high temperature environments.
Application field:
Electronic materials field: can be used to manufacture chip resistors, film capacitors and other electronic components. In the manufacture of integrated circuits, tantalum nitride particles can be used to form conductive films, barrier layers, etc., which play a role in connecting circuits and preventing the diffusion of metal ions.
Hard coating field: Due to its high hardness and good abrasion resistance, it can be used as hard coating material on the surface of cutting tools, moulds and other surfaces to improve their service life and cutting performance.
Superhard material additives: used as additives in the preparation of superhard materials, it can improve the hardness, toughness and other properties of the material.
VI HALBLEITERMATERIAL GmbH (VIMATERIAL) employs a stringent quality assurance system to ensure the reliability of our product quality. Strict quality control is implemented throughout the entire production chain, and for defective products, we strictly enforce the principle of rework and redo. Each batch is released only after passing detailed specification tests.
Every batch of our materials is independently tested, and, if necessary, we send samples to certified companies for testing. We provide these documents and analysis certificates with the shipment to certify that our products meet the required standards.
