Applications

Integrated Circuit Manufacturing: In integrated circuit manufacturing, scandium targets are used in the sputtering coating process. Sputtered titanium thin films can be used as barrier layers, diffusion barrier layers, adhesion layers, electrodes, etc., and are used to manufacture MOS devices, DRAM memories, NPN/PNP transistors, etc. in integrated circuits.

Solar Cells: Scandium targets are also widely used in solar cell manufacturing. For example, scandium targets can be used for sputtering coating to form the reflective layer of solar cells and improve the photoelectric conversion efficiency of solar cells.
