Applications

Electronic field: Scandium oxide sputtering target can be used as an additive in semiconductor materials to improve the performance of transistors and integrated circuits. Scandium oxide can also be used as a thin film material for metal scandium to make magnetic memory.

Optical field: Scandium oxide sputtering target is an important material for preparing high-refractive and low-scattering optical glass. Scandium oxide can be combined with other rare earth elements to form rare earth glass for the manufacture of optical devices such as lasers.

Ceramic field: Scandium oxide sputtering target can be used as an infrared absorption material and is widely used in solar collectors, UV-proof glasses and other fields. Scandium oxide can also be used to prepare high-temperature ceramics, such as zirconium yttrium aluminum ceramics, which can be used to manufacture high-temperature structural parts in aviation, aerospace and other fields.

Other applications: Scandium oxide sputtering target is used as a catalyst and has a wide range of applications in petrochemical, chemical fiber and biochemistry. Scandium oxide can also be used as a medical contrast agent, modifier or biomarker.

Quality control

Our products implement the most stringent quality management system. There are strict inspection standards for incoming materials, processes, final inspections, and factory inspections. Strict isolation measures will be adopted for unqualified processing to prevent unqualified products from flowing into the next process. Samples will be provided to customers according to customer requirements for re-inspection.

Packaging and storage

Wrapped with soft material inside and vacuum packed, and packed in cartons/wooden boxes outside.

It is recommended to storage it in a dry, cool, well-ventilated environment and away from flammable and organic matter. When handling scandium oxide, protective equipment such as protective gloves, masks, and goggles is required to avoid inhalation and skin contact. If you inhale scandium oxide dust, you should go to a hospital for treatment immediately.

QUALITY ASSURANCE

VI HALBLEITERMATERIAL GmbH (VIMATERIAL) employs a stringent quality assurance system to ensure the reliability of our product quality. Strict quality control is implemented throughout the entire production chain, and for defective products, we strictly enforce the principle of rework and redo. Each batch is released only after passing detailed specification tests.

Every batch of our materials is independently tested, and, if necessary, we send samples to certified companies for testing. We provide these documents and analysis certificates with the shipment to certify that our products meet the required standards.
