Characteristics

Density: Theoretical density is about 6.5-7.0 g/cm³, moderate density makes it possible to better control the deposition rate and thickness uniformity of the film during sputtering.

Melting point: high, generally between 1600℃-1700℃, which makes it able to withstand high energy input during sputtering without melting and deformation, ensuring the stability and repeatability of the sputtering process.

Thermal conductivity: Relatively low, with a thermal conductivity of about 5-10 W/(m・K), it is necessary to pay attention to controlling the temperature of the target during the sputtering process to prevent the target from rupturing due to thermal stress.

Oxidation resistance: good oxidation resistance at room temperature, but at high temperature, high humidity and other harsh environments, it is still necessary to take appropriate protective measures to prevent oxidation on the performance of the target .

Chemical stability: niobium titanium alloy has good chemical stability, it is not easy to react with common chemical substances, but in some strong acids and alkalis and other corrosive media, chemical reactions may occur, so in the process of use and storage need to pay attention to avoid contact with these substances.
