Nickel selenide particles are an important inorganic compound material.

Basic properties:

Chemical formula: NiSe

Molecular weight: 137.65 g/mol

Appearance: Usually black powdery particles, but may appear silvery in larger crystalline states

Crystal structure: Its crystal structure is more complex, there are many phase states. For the selenides of nickel divalent, the change of phase state will affect its physical and chemical properties

Electrical conductivity: belongs to semiconductor materials, has a certain degree of electrical conductivity, but the electrical conductivity is weak compared with metal materials.

Melting point: It has a high melting point, which makes it still maintain good stability in high temperature environment.

Hardness: It has a certain hardness, which makes it potentially useful in some application scenarios where wear resistance is required.

Preparation method:

Solid phase reaction method: nickel source (such as nickel powder, nickel oxide, etc.) and selenium source (such as selenium powder, hydrogen selenide, etc.) are mixed in a certain proportion, and solid phase reaction is carried out at high temperature to prepare NiSe particles.

Chemical vapor deposition method: The organic compound of nickel and selenium compound are used to deposit nickel selenide particles on the substrate under the gas phase condition.

Solvothermal method: nano-sized nickel selenide particles can be prepared by the reaction of nickel salt and selenium source in organic solvent under high temperature and high pressure.

Application field:

Catalytic field: NiSe can be used as a catalyst in a variety of chemical reactions, such as hydrogenation reaction, dehydrogenation reaction, water decomposition reaction, etc. In electrocatalytic water decomposition, NiSe particles can be used as an efficient catalyst to promote the generation of hydrogen.

Energy storage field: In energy storage devices such as batteries and supercapacitors, NiSe particles can be used as electrode materials to improve the performance of energy storage devices by using their good electrochemical properties.

Nonlinear optical field: It can be used for nonlinear optical applications such as mid-infrared frequency conversion.

QUALITY ASSURANCE

VI HALBLEITERMATERIAL GmbH (VIMATERIAL) employs a stringent quality assurance system to ensure the reliability of our product quality. Strict quality control is implemented throughout the entire production chain, and for defective products, we strictly enforce the principle of rework and redo. Each batch is released only after passing detailed specification tests.

Every batch of our materials is independently tested, and, if necessary, we send samples to certified companies for testing. We provide these documents and analysis certificates with the shipment to certify that our products meet the required standards.
