Nickel phosphide powder is an important inorganic compound powder.
Basic information:
Chemical formula: Ni₂P
CAS number: 12035-64-2
Molecular weight: 148.369
Appearance: Usually gray powder or flaky solid, odorless.
Density: The relative density is about 7.330g/cm³.
Melting point: high melting point, about 1112℃.
Preparation method:
Nickel-containing compounds are usually used as raw materials to react with phosphating reagents to prepare nickel phosphide powder. For example, the nickel containing aqueous solution is pretreated first, the pH of the solution is adjusted, the alkaline regulator is added to prepare an alkaline pre-reaction solution, the nickel source precursor powder is collected by washing and centrifuging after heating the reaction, and then the nickel source precursor and phosphating reagent are calcined under the protection of inert gas to obtain nickel phosphide.
Application field:
Catalyst: Due to its unique electronic structure and chemical properties, Ni₂P powder can be used as a catalyst in a variety of chemical reactions, such as hydrogenation reaction, dehydrogenation reaction.
Material enhancer: In the field of composite materials, nickel phosphide powder can be added to other materials as a enhancer to improve the hardness, strength, wear resistance and other properties of the material.
Battery materials: In the field of batteries, Ni₂P powder can be used to prepare electrode materials, such as negative electrode materials for lithium-ion batteries, which can improve the electrochemical performance of batteries.
VI HALBLEITERMATERIAL GmbH (VIMATERIAL) employs a stringent quality assurance system to ensure the reliability of our product quality. Strict quality control is implemented throughout the entire production chain, and for defective products, we strictly enforce the principle of rework and redo. Each batch is released only after passing detailed specification tests.
Every batch of our materials is independently tested, and, if necessary, we send samples to certified companies for testing. We provide these documents and analysis certificates with the shipment to certify that our products meet the required standards.
