Molybdenum metal wire is a kind of metal wire with high melting point, high strength and hardness, good electrical conductivity, low coefficient of thermal expansion and excellent corrosion resistance, etc. It is prepared by the drawing method or the combined rolling-drawing method, and is widely used in the fields of electronics, lighting, high-temperature furnace manufacturing, machining, chemical equipment, and so on.

Electrical conductivity: approx. 1.87×10⁶ S/m, which meets the requirements for electrical conductivity in electronics and semiconductors.
Modulus of elasticity: Typically 330 GPa, or 47900 ksi.
Corrosion resistance: Molybdenum metal is an inert metal, relatively stable in air at room temperature, but at high temperatures will react with oxygen to generate molybdenum trioxide. Molybdenum metal wire has good corrosion resistance to most common acids and bases, and is not easily corroded by hydrochloric acid and alkali.
Applications
Electronic industry: As the filament and gate of electron tube, it can work stably under high temperature to ensure the normal emission and amplification function of electron tube. In addition, molybdenum metal wire can also be used in the manufacture of semiconductor devices in the electrodes, leads, etc., to provide protection for the performance of electronic components.
