Applications

Medical field: involved in the development of radiopharmaceuticals, lutetium-177-labeled compounds are widely used in nuclear medicine imaging and radiotherapy, lutetium metal foils can be used as a raw material for the preparation of lutetium-177-related drugs; they can also be used in the manufacture of special components for some medical equipment, such as high-end radiation therapy equipment, where lutetium metal foils are used to optimize the distribution of the radiation dose and the effectiveness of the treatment.
