Applications

Glass manufacturing industry: It is an important flux and additive in glass production, Li₂B₄O₇ powder can reduce the melting temperature of glass, promote the uniform fusion of glass raw materials, reduce the bubbles and impurities in glass, and improve the transparency and mechanical strength of glass.

Ceramic field: adding Li₂B₄O₇ powder to ceramic blanks and glazes can reduce the firing temperature of ceramics, shorten the firing time and improve the production efficiency, as well as improve the surface gloss, hardness and wear resistance of ceramics.

Metallurgical industry: Used as flux in the metallurgical process, it can lower the melting point and viscosity of slag, promote the separation of metal and slag, and improve the recovery rate and purity of metal.
