Crystal structure: Cubic crystal system, Fd3m space group, typical spinel structure. Oxygen ions are face-centred cubic and densely packed, with lithium occupying 1/8 of the oxygen tetrahedral interstitial position and manganese occupying 1/2 of the oxygen octahedral interstitial position.

Applications

Lithium-ion batteries: Lithium Manganese Oxide sputtering targets are used in the preparation of cathode films for lithium-ion batteries, which can improve the charging and discharging performance and cycling stability of the battery, and help to realise high energy density and long service life.
