IZO target is an important sputtering target.
Composition: IZO targets are mainly composed of Indium Oxide (In₂O₃) and Zinc Oxide (ZnO).
Crystal structure: Based on the cubic ferromanganese structure of indium oxide, the addition of zinc oxide will produce a certain degree of distortion in the crystal structure, and this structural change has an important effect on its physical and chemical properties.
Electrical Properties: It is a semiconductor material with high carrier mobility, and its carrier concentration and mobility can be regulated through doping and other means, thus changing the conductivity.
Optical properties: high transparency in the visible range and specific optical behaviour in the infrared wavelength band, which gives it potential for applications in transparent conductive materials and infrared optical devices.
Thermal properties: good thermal stability, able to maintain the stability of physical and chemical properties within a certain temperature range, can be adapted to some of the manufacturing processes that require high temperature process.
Flat panel display field: can be used for the preparation of liquid crystal displays (LCD), organic light-emitting diode displays (OLED) and other transparent conductive electrodes, not only to ensure good conductivity, but also to maintain the high transparency of the screen, to achieve a clear image display.
Semiconductor field: can be used in the manufacture of semiconductor devices in the active components, such as transistors, etc., to help improve the performance and integration of the device.
Solar cell field: as transparent conductive electrode or buffer layer material, it can improve the photoelectric conversion efficiency of solar cells.
