In₂S₃ particles are an important semiconductor material with a variety of unique properties and a wide range of applications.

Basic properties:

Chemical composition: composed of two elements, indium (In) and sulfur (S), with the chemical formula In₂S₃.
Crystal structure: In₂S₃ has three crystal structures, which are cubic, tetragonal and tripartite.
Bandwidth: With a bandwidth of 2.0 – 2.3 eV, ₃No₃ belongs to the narrow bandwidth semiconductor materials, which gives it a certain absorption and response capability in the visible light range.
Electrical Properties: As an n-conducting semiconductor material, it has a high electron mobility, which is important for electron transport and related electronic device applications.

Application fields:

Photocatalysis: Indium Sulfide particles have a certain light absorption capacity under visible light, and are able to generate electron – cavity pairs, which can be used for photocatalytic degradation of organic pollutants, decomposition of water to produce hydrogen, and so on.

Solar cell field: Due to its suitable forbidden band width and better electrical properties, Indium Sulfide particles can be used as the absorber layer or buffer layer material of solar cells to improve the photoelectric conversion efficiency of solar cells.

Sensor field: In₂S₃ particles have sensitivity to gas, humidity and other factors in the environment, and can be used to prepare gas sensors, humidity sensors and so on.

Electronic device field: for example, in quantum dot light-emitting diodes, In₂S₃ particles can be used as electron transport layer materials to improve the electron transport performance and the luminous efficiency of the device.
