Physical Characteristics

Molecular formula: CuSn

Appearance: Usually showing a metallic luster, the color varies according to the ratio of copper to tin, generally between golden yellow and silver white.

Density: generally between 8.2-8.96 g/cm³.

Crystal structure: Common copper-tin alloys have α-phase, β-phase, γ-phase, etc. For example, Cu₂N is the most common copper-tin alloy.

Applications
