Copper Metal sputtering target is a material made of high purity copper metal used in Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) technology, where copper atoms are sputtered by ion bombardment in a vacuum environment and deposited on the surface of a substrate, providing high quality copper films for electronics, semiconductors and many other fields.

Crystal structure: face-centred cubic crystal structure. In the face-centred cubic structure, each copper atom is surrounded by 12 nearest-neighbour copper atoms.

Application

Semiconductor: Used in the manufacture of interconnects in integrated circuits to reduce signal transmission delays and improve chip performance due to its high conductivity.

Electronic display: In liquid crystal displays and organic light-emitting diode (OLED) displays, Copper Metal sputtering targets are used to make electrodes and other components to ensure accurate and stable displays.

Photovoltaic industry: As a deposition source for electrode materials, it can optimise the electrical performance of solar cells and improve photoelectric conversion efficiency.

Optical Coating: Copper thin films are formed by sputtering and are used in the coating process of optical lenses to improve the optical properties and durability of the lenses.
