Cerium phosphate powder is an important inorganic compound.
Chemical formula: usually expressed as CePO4, the former is anhydrous CePO4, the latter is cerium phosphate with crystalline water.
Molar mass: the molar mass of anhydrous CePO4 is about 235.0874 g/mol, and the molar mass of cerium phosphate containing water of crystallisation is about 253.09 g/mol (calculated as containing one water of crystallisation).
Appearance: generally white or yellowish powdery solid.
Density: Relative density is high, about 5.22 g/cm³.
Solubility: Difficult to dissolve in water and inorganic acids.
MELTING POINT: Relatively high melting point, which allows it to maintain a stable structure at high ambient temperatures.
Material science: it can be used in the preparation of electronic ceramic materials, such as as dielectric materials, piezoelectric materials and other additives, can improve the electrical properties of the material.
Optical field: It has important applications in optical materials such as phosphor and glass. For example, in phosphor, CePO4 can be used as activator to improve the luminous efficiency and brightness of phosphor.
Catalyst field: It can be used as catalyst or carrier of catalyst to catalyse some chemical reactions, such as oxidation reaction and hydrogenation reaction.
VI HALBLEITERMATERIAL GmbH (VIMATERIAL) employs a stringent quality assurance system to ensure the reliability of our product quality. Strict quality control is implemented throughout the entire production chain, and for defective products, we strictly enforce the principle of rework and redo. Each batch is released only after passing detailed specification tests.
Every batch of our materials is independently tested, and, if necessary, we send samples to certified companies for testing. We provide these documents and analysis certificates with the shipment to certify that our products meet the required standards.
