For cerium sulphate octahydrate, the melting point is about 350\u00b0C (decomposition)<\/p>\n<p>Magnetic properties: Cerium sulphate powder has a certain degree of magnetism with a magnetisation of +37.0 x 10-\u2076 cm\u00b3\/mol.<\/p>\n<p>Solubility: Cerium Sulfate is hygroscopic and soluble in water, its solubility is about 9.25 g\/100 ml at 20\u00b0C, and its solubility in hot water is slightly lower than in cold water. It is also soluble in dilute sulphuric acid, but insoluble in organic solvents such as ethanol. The dissolution process may be accompanied by hydrolysis reactions, especially in large amounts of water may decompose into alkali salts.
