Its aqueous solution is neutral.<\/p>\n<p>Easily soluble in water. The solubility in 100g water is 53.5g (0\u2103), 65.2g (20\u2103), and 104.0g (100\u2103).<\/p>\n<p>Its bromide ion can be replaced by fluorine and chlorine. It reacts with sulfuric acid to generate hydrogen bromide. Reacts with silver nitrate to form yellow silver bromide precipitate<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Application<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>1. Photoelectric materials: Potassium bromide is used to prepare optical glass and optical fiber, and is applied to laser technology and communication technology.<\/p>\n<p>2.
